关于 汤火茶 About
两个人，一个牌子，三味武夷岩茶。James 在洛杉矶，Sheri 在上海。Two people, one brand, three Wuyi rock teas. James is in Los Angeles, Sheri in Shanghai.
把「烫」字拆开，就是汤在上、火在下：底下有火，汤才会烫。「汤火」两个字，就是一个「烫」。
标志里的中文是手写的，飞白原样留着，没有重描。
Split the character 烫, hot, and you get 汤, the tea liquor, over 火, fire: the liquor is hot because the fire is underneath. 汤火 is simply 烫 taken apart. The Chinese in the mark is handwritten, dry-brush gaps left in, never redrawn.
英文名是 Sheri 想出来的：HEATead 谐音 heated，中间嵌进了 tea。
有一次 Sheri 在咖啡店请店员把面包热一下，拿到手时店员笑着说了一句 “It’s heated”。那一刻，Sheri 感到一种被照顾的温暖。-ed 是完成时：热，已经替你弄好了。
The English name is Sheri’s: HEATead sounds like heated, with tea set inside it. Once, in a coffee shop, Sheri asked for a pastry to be warmed; handing it over, the barista smiled: “It’s heated.” In that moment Sheri felt looked after. -ed is done: the heat has already been taken care of for you.
我们两个人一起创立了汤火茶：男生叫 James，在洛杉矶；女生叫 Sheri，在上海。两个人都很有主意，所以这个牌子从名字到包装，都是隔着太平洋吵出来的。
茶来自福建武夷山，中间没有经销商，好茶才能用实在的价格交到你手里。
There are two of us: James in Los Angeles and Sheri in Shanghai. Both of us run on ideas, so everything from the name to the box got argued into being across the Pacific. The tea comes from Wuyishan with no one in between, so fine tea reaches you at a fair price.
04 — 颜色 Colour
所有视觉都摊在一条渐变的绿上：从茶树扎根的岩壁深绿，走到新芽的嫩绿。那是一株茶的一生，也是一泡茶的温度曲线。包装越小，绿色越深。
Everything is laid out along one green gradient, from the deep green of the cliff where the bushes take root to the pale green of a new bud: the life of the plant, and the temperature curve of one steep. The smaller the pack, the deeper the green.
包装上的底纹是盘长纹，也叫吉祥结：一根线绕来绕去，回环往复，没有头也没有尾。我们去掉了常见的飘带，只留下结本身。
The pattern on the packaging is the endless knot: one line that loops back on itself, with no beginning and no end. We left off the usual ribbons and kept only the knot.
